TOYOTA BOSHOKU AIMS TO TRAIN 5,000 CHILDREN ON SAFETY BELT

Toyota Boshoku Türkiye is undertaking training about the importance of using rear seat belts to 5,000 student in 23 elementary schools in Sakarya through Rear Seat Safety Belt Project. The trainings start on March 2014 and continue until June 2017 (Sakarya, Turkey) March 17, 2014 ; Toyota Boshoku Turkey (hereafter: TBT), a premier manufacturer of automotive interior systems, started the "Rear Seat Safety Belt Project" in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Sakarya, Social Security Association (SGK), Arifiye Municipality and Sakarya Traffic Police Department for 3rd grade elementary students. Toyota Boshoku Turkey aims to raise awareness of rear seat safety belt especially in the Sakarya region starting at elementary schools by teaching students about the importance of seat belts. The first training was realized on March 17, at Arifiye Cultural Center, Arifiye with the participation of approximately 200 guests including Bekir Sıtkı Durgun Elementary School students & teachers, Ministry of Education Sakarya Manager, Arifiye Mayor, Social Security Association Manager and Sakarya Traffic Police Department Manager and related TBT employees. The 3rd grade class students were trained about the importance of using seat belts and also how to assist and caution their parents while they are on the road together. The trainings will countinue until the end of 2017. Toyota Boshoku Turkey President Kenji Hirota stated that "through this project, TBT aims to raise consciousness on road safety issues.
