Toyota Boshoku Türkey (hereafter: TBT), a premier manufacturer of automotive interior systems, created and implemented an "Employee Development Programme" under the name of "LEAP: Leadership Approach" with the leadership of TBT Human Resources and Safety Department and the support of all divisions. The Employee Development Program, which aims at supporting TBT employees development and career plans according to the company's strategy, targets and mission, began in April 2013 with the support of professional educators. The program is made up of in-house training specific to Toyota Boshoku (TB) such as TB Way Training, Safety Training, TPS Training, TB Job Instruction Training, Quality Awareness Training and Cost Awareness Training as well as outsourced training to support the development of management capabilities of company leaders and managers. Some of these are Leadership Training, Basic Management Capability related Training, Effective Communication Training and Time Management Training. Within the scope of the TBT Employee Development Programme a series of trainings have been undertaken since April. Some of these were "Leadership Approach" by Prof. Dr. Acar Baltaş, "Consciousness in the Workplace" by Prof. Dr. Doğan Cüceloğlu and "Qualified and Effective Communication in the Workplace" by Prof. Dr. Üstün Dökmen. The last training in the programme was given by Prof. Dr. Doğan Cüceloğlu to TBT employees and their families on 30 November 2013. TBT will continue to work with related parties to further enhance its training program with the aim of helping employees individual careers, furthering corporate goals and to contribute to Turkish society.
